Cat~ It’s a kitty cat~
Those who follow my blog, Twitter (get one!), Facebook and other random things should know that I have a new baby~!
MY KITTY CAT!
Well, she was adopted actually. My sister’s boyfriend couldn’t keep her because his mom don’t allow pets at home apparently and so, he decided to hand it to me. My sister said it’s my really, really early birthday present and I don’t mind having such a cute darling as a birthday present.
I used to have a white cat with blue eyes when I was in Secondary school and I missed her a lot. She was my first cat but sadly, she passed away because she jumped down through the window.
I was quite sad for a period of time and that day, I cried the whole day. My white beauty was the only one I could talk to and sing to without people complaining.
But now, I have this orange sweetie. She’s now sleeping by my lap while I write this post. Isn’t that sweet? I promise to take care of her to the best of my ability. I’m sure my sister will help me too because she said so.
Well, pictures! My sister and I took lots of pictures of her sleeping because this little active girl loves to run around and getting a clear picture in this “dark” house is not very easy. But anyway, enjoy!
She first arrived last Saturday and she was only 4 weeks old. That’s actually too young an age to be away from his mother but due to the circumstances, my sister’s boyfriend had no choice and so, I played as the surrogate mother and I had to feed her using that makeshift milk feeder for 2 days before I started to feed her wet canned food.
Normally at night, around 8 - 9pm, I will bring her to my room because the place where her bed and litter box is located, my laundry room, is pretty windy and not to mention, cold for her. She loves to sit on my laptop and send messages of random things like “kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii” to people. Just now, she wanted to sleep on my laptop and I had to shift her away.

Vera and the kitty cat. She don’t mind sitting on people’s laps but she can bite sometimes when you play with her with your fingers. I’m trying to train her not to because her teeth are sharp~ She loves to dig into your you-know-what and start to nibble and knead you… Probably because she is still young and is not completed weaned yet. Still working on that…

That day, my sister placed her on my back and she fell asleep comfortably. Not for me though because I had to stay very still. Otherwise she might wake up and start attacking the wires. Look at her eyes! She has white eye liner~ :P

Right. Realized that throughout the post, I didn’t mention her name? Right now, she is un-named and I have no clue what to name her.
I’ve borrowed a book on naming cats at I found a few though but I’m not sure which one sounds nicer. They are Apricot, because of her orange fur, Venus, because she’s a female and that Sailor Venus in Sailormoon is some what representing the color orange, and Carrotcake, because of Wizard Carrotcake.
Which should I choose? Vera refused to let me use Venus because she said she wants to name her daughter that next time. But that’s a very easy to call and nice name.
Or maybe Wenus. :P Jum should get what I mean. :P
Or anyone has any other suggestions? :D I’m glad to hear them~
